Telecommunications Field Surveyor

Position  Overview:  The Telecommunications Field Surveyor is responsible for conducting on-site assessments of infrastructure locations, including cell towers, utility poles, and fiber routes. This role supports engineering and construction teams by collecting accurate field data and ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations. 

Key Duties & Responsibilities:  

• Conduct on-site surveys using GPS tools, surveying equipment, and specialized software
• Map terrain and evaluate site conditions
• Take precise measurements and capture equipment photography
• Collect and document data for infrastructure design and construction
• Prepare detailed reports for engineering teams
• Ensure all work aligns with regulatory and safety requirements

Qualifications:

• Experience in field surveying, telecommunications, construction, or related industries preferred not required
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to accurately document and report findings
• Familiarity with GPS tools, mapping software, or willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently in a field environment

Requirements: : 

• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to various site locations
• Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
• Access to a smartphone or device for documentation and communication
• Strong communication and time management skills

Compensation : This is a 1 to 3-month contract, performance-based position. Compensation is based on completed surveys and deliverables rather than a fixed salary. Additional details will be discussed during the interview process.
